Introduction

Starting on 3 May 2008, Brian O'Callaghan is accompanying Downpatrick lass Patricia Watterson on her fund-raising walk from Malin Head in Co. Donegal to Mizen Head in Co Cork, a distance of over 430 miles. Pat is raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Brian, an experienced walker, who in 2005 walked the full 1,600 miles from Rostrevor to Santiago on his Camino, is keeping a diary and will post it here as he goes.
