This database holds details of the descendants of my paternal Great-grandparents, Edward and Mary McKenna, who lived in the townland of Drumboy in County Armagh, not far from Crossmaglen, in Ireland. The River Fane, running along the townland boundry, forms the border with Co Monaghan, now in the Republic of Ireland. The 1864 Griffiths Valuation shows that they had a smallholding of about 12 statute acres, ratable value £6.10s0d. The family was still there at the time of the 1901 Census of Ireland. However, by 1911 Edward had died and the land had been sold.

My grandmother was Annie McKenna, married to Owen Devlin. Annie and Owen's descendants are in the Devlin database. The databases are linked at the appropriate places. I have no information about Edward or Mary's parents and siblings. While not all of the data is yet available I intend to add to the database as more information is received. Where possible, photographs accompany the personal details.
